AUROD Order Terminal

An installable order pad for one phone on a busy restaurant floor. Staff pick a table or takeaway, add dishes, attach notes and send the order to a kitchen board. A staff PIN, a kitchen PIN and an owner PIN decide who sees what.

What it does

  • Table and takeaway orders from one screen
  • Menu search, categories and item notes
  • Kitchen board that moves each order through New, Preparing, Ready, Served and Paid
  • Three PIN-gated views: staff, kitchen and owner
  • Installable as a home-screen app, works on a normal phone

Status

This is a working demo built in-house and tested on a real phone. It is not running for a paying client. The menu shown was transcribed from a real local restaurant for testing.
